Very cool overall (concept, music, skills)

My complaints are that the ending is pretty underwhelming. Especially since stage 18 looks like our sky, so I thought "wow, is he falling from the sky on Earth? Is he falling FROM hell? Or is he going to reach hell after passing through the Earth's sky and ground?". Then what is got is freaking fireworks. O_õ
Come on!

And the other complaint is the apocalypse mode. Generally this kind of endless mode is good for the player to test their skill or builds. But there's no way to avoind those monsters without using skills and I couldn't even chose my own combo. So it was just blasting through enemies repeatedly (while blasting my ears with those sound effects), which got boring after a few seconds

But great job anyway!

way more interesting than I tought it would be! There are a lot of combinations and choices you can make with the classes!
At least until the second city, when it becomes more of an upgrade game. Do quests, level up, buy gear, win. Also, it's a very annoying point of the game where 9 out of 10 characters have some skill, so the battle flow is interrupted constantly

The betting thing is cool too :D

neat, but damn hardcore. On the first play, I died on the 1st ring
Then, a lot of effort to get a freaking E+
Increasing the difficulty and pace over time would be appreciated. Especially to give something interesting on the later-on game. Maybe it's just not my kind of game, but I don't see why I would try to get an A if it can be mostly luck. I mean, I did get a 15 but often died on the 1st or 2nd ring.

couldn't you make the letters easier to read? D:
But the controls were easy to grasp. It's pretty neat to make a strategy tactic game, although the game was easy overall

the disk got stuck in the corner and my mallet got stuck outside of the table :|

incredibly simple and short.

Were the "A and D to move" sign a joke? Because, you know. You have to discover how to move to be able to reach the sign telling you how to move (and A and D or arrow keys to move are standard). Maybe you wouldn't even need to tell K was "read" and "talk". The Menu already tells the player that the "k" works like an "enter" or "action button" in this game. Maybe it would add up to the exploration, which seems to be the main aspect of this game.

I liked the theming though :)
And there was a small problem on the wall jump, probably related to colision detection

I put the K there cause some people just get stuck on the dialogue

(: any how rhx for the opnions!

My game randomly lagging for some reason almost destroyed the experience

about medals, I'm not a fan of rewarding failure more than success.
if you're going to give a medal for failing, at least be it some amazing failure, at least like the 'crashing even before the start'

but 50 points for crashing 30 times? That was like 5 minutes of play

About the game, well, it's a simple arcade. Not much to expect. It's probably fun if it's not lagging

I'm pretty sure this game is well done and will be fun to play after a few days of grinding (of after paying to wait less to play again)

But there are just so many games exactly like this, and this game didn't leave any promise of fun future gameplay. Any reason to "why I should spend days playing this" or "playing this instead of the others".

The only thing I know is that there's strategy and mutiplayer play. But I couldn't even chose my own team, except from the first hero. And it seems it would take some time grinding til I could summon, like, three of four others, to really start building my strategy.

THIS GAME IS ENORMOUS O__O
Especially for a newgrounds game for free. Seriously

It starts a bit weird and unexplained, but the depth of this game is great.

Key rebinding would be good, but weren't a problem for my, since I mapped the keys to a joystick.

Graphics are simple, but the soundtracks rock, the characters are great and the narrative is amazing. xD
Loved the references, too.

Hello, thank you for your review. :)

EDIT: V1.1 is up. You can rebind the key in the Pause Menu. Hit Tab to switch between combo list and keyboard configuration. On keyboard configuration page, hit SHIFT+C. You can now choose which key do you want to rebind with arrow key UP and DOWN. Simply press any key you wish to replace the old key with the new key. If you choose a key that is already used for another action, the game will play an error sound. Once you are satisfied with your control scheme, hit ESC. Then, resume game.

So I'm playing this "life" game everyone has been talking about. It's been fun so far! I have great expectations! Cool characters, awesome soundtrack (mostly), admirable attention to detail. Level design and progression system needs improvement, though.
