The game is neat, I liked the concept of starting with a boss

but there are a lot of frustrating things
The boss' upper beam doesn't even need to be evaded while two other of his attacks are impossible to avoid. The medal for no damage, then, is just a matter of luck? I don't think it's nice to reward players for luck and game time. One can get a medal for playing for hours while a player was able to defeat him with almost no upgrade and he gets nothing. (unless it's that secret medal)
Plus there's this thing of the game freezing when when you dash to another screen or to the boss' orb. Another thing is that you can get a LOT more orbs from the first stage than from the second, that doesn't seem very fair.

There is no impossible attack to dodge and the beam is for if the player jumps because during testing, that's what happened a lot :P

it is really plain, simple, no story or anything 'n stuff

I like it for the ambience, music, the aesthetics even though it's reaaally simple (retro)
and the difficulty x.x
some stages were fun, others were hard, others were tiring
one nice thing is that the game teaches you everything without saying any words apart from "use arrows to move"

Loved the musics, nice aesthetics, very challenging :D
the story is nice, though it's a very common one for this kind of puzzle-plataformer
the last 'boss' was kinda disappointing
time attack should be worth more than 10 points, I didn't get it yet >.< (harder than getting 19 grapefruits, in my opinion)

Nice, fun game
Rather easy until the golden leaf challenges, as long as you keep getting the achievements to level up
As any strategy game, after you begin dominating the game, it's a win

Just two things bothered me:
1-Why is the max level 51? O_o
On level 50 I got all of the skills on max
2-I finished the game and still don't know what a Golden Symbiosis is :D (I'm supposing it's a strenghtened symbiosis, since the game didn't tell me)

The game and graphics are pretty cool, and the story is nice (though I think it could be deeper, but it's good the way it is)

but the game can get kinda boring later on. It gets easier as you get upgrades. From the fourth mission, there are a few new things such as "scan" and "mining", so I think there should be more new missions from a certain point, where you begin gathering strengh
And new kinds of upgrades would be cool too, like some radar that warned you from where the next enemy would come (left, right, center..), or some thing to desaccelerate the ship so it could fit between 2 bullets easier, like in those bullet hell games

I think adding these would be cool because on most of the missions it's just evading bullets while holding X and that's it, destroying everything in your way.

I loved the idea of a fight between game sites :D

but there are TOO many players on Kongregate and many on Newgrounds
but neraly none on facebook and on the green one I forgot the name and none(?) on armor games

plus, I think "victory" is a lot undervalued. I heard "WE WIN" twice already and I saw no "newgrounds win", medal, fireworks or anything like that
In my opinion, it should be harder to win and it makes the player feel more rewarded
Lastly, one thing I think would be cool here is the felling of "I made a difference"
On a similar game I've played, Fantasy Earth Zero, it was 50x50 players and you could notice that with 1 less person on your team, you would lose

by the other reviews, it looks like you couldn't fool many with "the end" :D
but it's a nice game
a bit short and a little bit limited but it's ok

Suggestions: -The meelee weapons could have something else different other than the appearance
-There could be a few more stages and different kinds of characters (most of them look the same O.o)
-Add the option to play online (or make another version of this game on which you can play online), because playing with 2 persons already tilts my keyboard, and online more than 2 would be able to play at once

I disagree with Berder's review
games should be more exigent, not something robotic
on the windy part, apart from thinking a bit, you need skill too
most of the games today are too easy, to get to a truly dificult part you have to play through the entire game
and in most of them, playing for hours to level up or something like that is enough to make it easy

It's very simple, I liked the music (with the balloon) and the way you played with the scenery colours, desing and with the background
it could have some kind of save point
(I accidentally quitted after the windy part x.x)

Fun game

the 21th and 22th advices are important :D

you could have mixed the stages a bit more to make more complex levels, exept for the 21th and the 1st (learning to play O.o), all of them in my opinion were quite easy
It's not hard to discover what to do because the game is pretty simple, so I guess there's no need for a tutorial

So I'm playing this "life" game everyone has been talking about. It's been fun so far! I have great expectations! Cool characters, awesome soundtrack (mostly), admirable attention to detail. Level design and progression system needs improvement, though.
